This blog is kind of a continuation of a newsletter I once wrote for and then published for ten years called -- Parenting Network. There were several articles written by folks I knew who worked with kids in some way. The general idea was to provide useful information for parents, call attention to some of the problems facing parents, as well as problems facing kids -- ours and others out there who are....just kids.

So now I've decided to use the web as a place to talk about the kids. All of them -- yours, mine and those who don't seem to have anyone out there speaking for them. I hope we can figure out some positive ways to deal with the issues kids and parents encounter all the time and maybe even come up with some ideas for saving kids who are self-destructing before they have a chance at life. We can't hope to make this nation or this world a better place if we don't start with the kids -- they're the ones who will be running this world when many of us are too old! If our younger generation is clueless, how can we hope for a brighter future? So because many, if not most, of our decisions, large and small, affect our kids.... so many of the decisions our governments, local and national make, affect the kids..... before we make any of those decisions we should always ask WHAT ABOUT THE KIDS?
